3. The purpose and legal basis for processing your personal data
We collect and process personal information in connection with the provision of various services to partners and customers including:
a) Advisory service
We provide a wide range of different services and products for Danish cattle farms, including IT-based advisory services. We also provide strategic advice in individual herds in collaboration with the herd owner, employees, veterinarians and advisor. When we provide a service, it will be based on a case that we create in one of our systems. The case may involve one or more persons who are part of the case in various ways. If you are one of these persons, whether you represent the party who has ordered the service or is associated with a possible partner, we will process a number of general personal data about you. The information we process comes from yourself or from the party you represent. We use the personal information to communicate with you and to provide the service. In connection with the delivery of a service, we collect information about herds and animals from the CHR register and from the Cattle Database. In some cases, we update the Cattle Database with information about the treatment we carry out. When we update the Cattle Database, we also pass on personal information to Agriculture & Food F.m.b.A (SEGES) for analysis, research and statistical purposes. We pass on general personal information to veterinarians, consultants and suppliers with whom we work.
When we provide a service, we process your personal data on the basis of Art. 6.1.b of the Personal Data Regulation. The transfer of personal data to SEGES takes place on the basis of Art. 89.1 of the Personal Data Ordinance. Other disclosure of personal data takes place on the basis of Art. 6.1.f in the Personal Data Ordinance, where the legitimate interest is an extension of our objective as a company to “provide decision support to cattle herds”.
b) License for SimHerd products and other IT products
We market licenses for SimHerd products and other IT products. When you place an order, we create an order in one of our order management systems and will in this connection process a number of general personal information about you. We use the personal information to communicate with you, to deliver the purchased product or service and for any advice regarding the use of the product or service. The information we process comes from yourself. In connection with the processing of an order, we pass on personal information to suppliers, freight forwarders and payment card providers. We process your personal data on the basis of Art. 6.1.b of the Personal Data Regulation.
c) Customer administration
We process general personal information in connection with the administration of the company. We also process general personal information in connection with the holding of professional events, courses and other meetings, as well as in connection with ongoing case processing and inquiries to the company. In connection with the sending of newsletters and other targeted communication, we process in certain cases your purchase history with us, your interests and any information about cattle herds and animals. In connection with the administration of salary, fees or other payments, we process the CPR number. The information we process comes from yourself or from the organization or company that you are member of or who you represent. We share personal information with public authorities (eg SKAT) if we have a legal obligation to do so. We process your personal data on the basis of Art. 6.1.b of the Personal Data Regulation. The treatment can also take place on the basis of art. 6.1., Where the legitimate interest is to communicate about activities and offers, including administering professional activities and sending out evaluation forms, etc. Our legal basis for processing your CPR number is Art. 6.1.c in the Personal Data Ordinance, as we must make statutory reports to SKAT.
