A warm welcome to Kresten Johansen and Long Chen!
We are very proud to share that we have two new colleagues at SimHerd.
Kresten joins us in a full-time position and will be working on product development, primarily within veal calves, finishing dairy cows, and cull cow management. Through his MSc thesis, Ph.D., and postdoc at Aarhus University, he has been involved in projects focusing on crossbreeding and methane emissions and feed efficiency in veal calf production.
Long is employed in a part-time project position (two days a week), where he will primarily contribute to the KlimaKS project. He is currently pursuing a postdoc at Aarhus University and brings extensive experience in heat stress, methane emissions, and LCA analysis of dairy herds.
We are incredibly proud to welcome two such brilliant minds to the SimHerd team – and we’re excited to see what new insights the coming months will bring!
